January 26, 2012 — Regular Season Comes to a Close in Upper Darby

The final games of the PGBL regular season were played Thursday night at St. Demetrios in Upper Darby, setting the stage for the playoffs.

The Knicks secured a hard-fought 9-point win over the Sixers, locking in second place in their division. It wasn’t their sharpest performance, but it was enough to get the job done.

Meanwhile, PAOK fell to the Kings in a decisive matchup that dropped them to fourth place. The Kings looked strong throughout and controlled the game from start to finish.

In the night’s final game, the Terps edged out Arseniko in a sloppy but important win, giving them a boost heading into the postseason.

With the regular season wrapped up, all eyes now turn to the playoff bracket.
