Athanasios Gerasopoulos passed away peacefully on January 29, 2017, one day away from his 81 birthday.
Born in Greece to Thomas and Evanthia just before the war he eventually made his way to America to start his life. He was the loving husband of Sofia. Together they were blessed with two daughters Evanthia Romeo and Evangelia (Bill) Karasis, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are welcome to the viewing from 11:45 am to 12:30 pm on Thursday, February 2, 2017, with the funeral service at 12:30 pm at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 229 Powell Ln, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment will be at Fernwood Cemetery.
