Mary G. Fafalios, born November 15, 1925, in Schenectady, NY has gone to be with the Lord on February 18, 2017. She is survived by her children, Nicholas S. (Phyllis) Fafalios, and Diane F. Fisfis; grandchildren, Maria (Jason) Sears, Sylvie (Eric) Miga, Nicholas P. (Cathryn) Fisfis, Joyce (Sami) Zeka; great-grandchildren, Alexander and Juliana Zeka, Nicholas and Penelope Fisfis, and several nieces and nephews.

She was extremely active in all church activities with the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Wilmington, DE. She was a part of the choir for over 40 years and a proud member of the Daughters of Penelope. She was also an advisor to the youth group, Maids of Athena. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Steven N. Fafalios, and was very well known working side by side with him at their business, Calavrita Importing Company based in Wilmington, DE. For over 54 years they served the Wilmington community with baked goods and gourmet foods.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, instilling core values of humanity and family life, always putting others before herself. She was a shining example of how to live life and how to treat others. She will forever be missed. May her memory be eternal.
