St. Davids, PA – The Hellenic University Club of Philadelphia will be hosting its Scholarship Awards Dinner at the Radnor Hotel, in St. Davids, PA on June 1, 2017. There will be presentations of Awards to High School Graduates and College/University Students from the Greater Philadelphia Region.

This year HUC will feature guest speaker Dr. Constantine (Gus) Harris who along with his brother Dr. Basil Harris recently won the top prize of the Qualcomm Foundation’s X-Prize Tricorder consumer medical competition. Their tricorder device was inspired by the original Star Trek series—an example of turning science fiction into science reality. Both brothers are past HUC Scholarship Award recipients – Constantine in 1996-97 and Basil in 1999-2000.

The Reception will begin at 6:00. There, you can informally meet and speak with the recipients and their families. After dinner, you can hear the speaker, Dr. Constantine Harris, followed by the presentation of our Scholarship Awards.
