Cherry Hill, NJ – The annual Three Hierarchs event was held at the Danielle Kousoulis Center of St. Thomas this past Saturday. Fourteen local Greek Orthodox churches took part in the event, which was hosted by the Metropolis of New Jersey.
The invocation was given by His Eminence, Metropolitan Evangelos of New Jersey, followed by dinner. Anastasios Efstratiades Esp., the parish council president of St. Thomas, then delivered a speech about the history of the three Hierarchs.
Master of Ceremonies Demetrios Rozanitis then introduced the poetry, song, and dancing performed by various church student representatives.
His Eminence, Metropolitan Evangelos of New Jersey, presented the certificate awards to the Sunday school and Greek school teachers of each church in recognition of their service.
The evening concluded with a special musical performance by the St. Thomas School.
