Hellenic College Holy Cross – Appointment of Interim Deans

Brookline, MA – Hellenic College Holy Cross is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Bruce Beck as interim Dean of Hellenic College and Rev. Dr. Thomas FitzGerald as interim Dean of Holy Cross. These appointments, effective July 1, will allow a seamless transition of leadership for both schools and make possible a careful, comprehensive search over the next year for permanent successors to Dean Katos and Dean Skedros.

Dr. Beck is Director of the Religious Studies program at Hellenic College, Assistant Professor of New Testament at Holy Cross, and Director of the Pappas Patristic Institute.

Fr. FitzGerald, an alumnus and past Dean of Holy Cross, is Professor of Church History and Historical Theology. He has also represented the Ecumenical Patriarchate at numerous ecumenical dialogues and interfaith discussions over many years.
