Upper Darby, PA – Thirteen years later the Tsipourovrathia sponsored by the Society of Epirotes of Philadelphia “Omonia” had plenty off kefi. The party went on into the morning hours. Traditional music from Epiros was featured by none other than the Lazaros Paraskevas Orchestra. Great food and the famed drink from Greece – Tsipouro, was served throughout the evening.

At midnight, a bowl of patsa was served with an assortment of desserts. The annual tradition is in honor of the homeland and the region, Epiros Greece. Funds were raised from the evening to support a variety of charities and those organizations in need, in both Greece and the United States.
