John Pratsinakis, a long time member of St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church of Cherry Hill, NJ, and the South Jersey community, fought off a battle with COVID-19 this past month. The overwhelming support of his parish, community, media, and family was a great show of unity. Overwhelmed by the support and prayers, his father and mother, Fr. and Pres. Emmanuel Pratsinakis have released this statement:

The Day of Resurrection! O people, let us be radiant! *

Fr. and Pres. Emmanuel Pratsinakis and their family express deep gratitude to our Most Holy God for and Cooper University Hospital, New Jersey, for the well-being of our beloved son John in his battle against COVID-19. We also appreciate the news media for sharing his story and for the inundation of prayers and expressions of love by our relatives here and in Greece, friends, and neighbors during this challenging time. May God grant you all a lifetime of health, well-being, and love. And by God’s Grace, we look forward to John’s complete recovery.
