Deptford, NJ – On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 6:00 pm, AHEPA Camden Chapter will host its annual Cigar Smoker at Adelphia Restaurant. The ticket costs $125 for dinner and an open bar with premium cigars. AHEPA has fundraised for many things, from scholarships to earthquake relief to cancer research and, most recently, for maintenance vehicles for Greece’s firefighting airplanes. This time, the chapter has designated the proceeds to its Saint Thomas Church Iconography project.

Fundraising for a great community cause and having fun is uniquely AHEPA. Thus, this year’s event is titled “AHEPA Angels.” Cosmas Diamantis, President of the chapter, remarked, “It’s an opportunity to use our reach to sponsor multiple Angels which will be holding the Pantocrator at Saint Thomas Greek Orthodox Church.

“I hope the public can make it out for a great evening. Bring your friends and enjoy this annual tradition.” Added Jon Patouhas, the chapter Vice President, “‘ We also will have a large variety of prizes for our chance raffle. I am amazed at how the event draws hundreds of people to give freely. I hope this event, which supports a church project at St. Thomas, is kept just as much as our prior fundraising causes. See you there!”

In addition, sponsorships are also being accepted to support the cause. If you are interested in sponsorship and a ticket, you can call (856) 986-8972.
