Wilmington, DE – His Eminence, Archbishop Elpidoforos, accompanied by a senior delegation from the Archdiocese, was greeted at the Odyssey Charter School last Sunday by the school’s leadership Elias Rigas, President of the Board of Directors, and Elias Pappas, Head of the School.
The Archbishop was given an overview of the school’s history, provided a tour of the school, and highlights of the Greek language and Immersion programs.
Additionally, several board members were attending, including Anamarie Anagnostou (Board VP), Georgia Halakos, Valerie Caras, Eva Jannelli, as well as Greek teachers Maria Paraponiari, Zafeirios Ntouvis, Ioanna Lekkakou, and Georgia Nikolaou who led tours of their classrooms and gave overviews of the Greek language curriculum and daily instruction.
