On Saturday morning this week, the Order of Saint Andrew, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate met in suburban Philadelphia at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox church in Valley Forge Pennsylvania. The regional event topics were, Pascha to Pentecost-Visions of Renewed Faith and Renewed Life and The Quest for Religious Freedom. Archon, Anthony Limberakis M.D. and Anton Vrame, Ph.D. Director, department of Religious Education (Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America) and his Eminence Metropolitan Evangelos of New Jersey all spoke. Lunch and a tour of the newly opened byzantine church followed.
