Watch live now the Divine Liturgy for Thomas Sunday at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church in Cherry Hill, NJ. The Liturgy is presided by His Grace Bishop Apostolos of Medeia.

Following the celebration of Holy Pascha, the Orthodox Church commemorates the Sunday of St. Thomas. On this day, Jesus Christ appeared to his disciples, which marks the end of Passover. After eight days, Christ appeared to his disciples, and Thomas declared, “My Lord and my God” upon seeing the hands and side of Christ.

Sunday after Pascha is also referred to as Antipascha (meaning “instead of Pascha,” not “against Pascha”) because it consecrates every Sunday to remember the Resurrection or Pascha.
