The Federation of Hellenic American Societies of Philadelphia and the Greater Delaware Valley will present the Greek Independence Day Parade 2013 along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
This year’s parade will honor the Council of Hellenes Abroad and feature The Honorable Theodore Spyropoulos, President of SAE, as Grand Marshal. Joining as Honorary Marshals will be Koula Sophianou, Consul General of the Republic of Cyprus, and John Kastanis, President and CEO of Temple University Health System.
The parade will begin with formation at 1:00 p.m. at Logan Circle, with the official kickoff at 2:00 p.m.
