On October 21, the Hellenic Hearts Educational Guidance Program will be hosting a College Admissions Workshop for students in the process of preparing their college applications. The event, taking place at St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, will provide participants assistance in two vital areas of the college application process: (1) college essay writing, and (2) college applications.
On the day of the event, students who submitted an essay in advance will receive a one-on-one review of their essay. Essays submitted prior to the event will be reviewed by multiple volunteers. Students who do not have an essay to review are encouraged to attend and participate in brainstorming sessions in an effort to help create a great college essay.
The Workshop will also include a session informing students on what they need to know when filling out their college applications. An overview of college application databases — such as the Common Application, a universal college application database — will be provided.
You must register for the event. Registration closes on Saturday, October 14.
