Steve and Angela Zervoudis to be honored at annual Greek-American gala hosted by Cosmos FM
Cosmos FM, the New York-based Greek-language public radio station, will host its 31st Phidippides Award Gala on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Union League Club in New York City.
This year’s honorees are Steve and Angela Zervoudis, a New York–based couple whose work has focused on real estate development and long-standing support for Greek Orthodox institutions and education.
Steve Zervoudis has been involved in the development of affordable housing, including projects designed for individuals with special needs. Angela Zervoudis has worked alongside him in their philanthropic efforts over the years, particularly in support of church and educational initiatives.
The annual gala is organized by the Greek American Educational Public Information System (GAEPIS), the nonprofit behind Cosmos FM. The station has operated for decades as a Greek-language public radio presence in the United States, serving audiences in New York and beyond through cultural, religious, and public affairs programming.
The Phidippides Award takes its name from the ancient Athenian messenger associated with endurance and service, and is presented each year to individuals whose work reflects a sustained commitment to Hellenic culture and community life.
Please confirm event details with the organizers before attending, as dates, times, locations, and registration information may change.
