Williamstown, NJ – The Danielle Kousoulis Memorial Cup Golf Tournament was hosted at Scotland Run Golf course yesterday. Family members and friends came out for the day and celebrated the life of Danielle at this annual golf outing, which also featured a nine-hole putting green challenge and a Dinner reception.
Each year, the tournament in honor of Danielle’s name awards scholarship funds at two places that were key in the shaping of Danielle’s life. The first is awarded to a Haddon Township (NJ) High School graduate (Danielle’s alma mater), and the other, a member of Danielle’s church, St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church (Cherry Hill, NJ).
Danielle was Vice-President at Cantor Fitzgerald, New York, where she started in 1989. Her sister, Eleni, said she felt a strong connection with her community and where she was from. During the holidays and her free time, she returned often, to be near her family. She was a member of the St. Thomas GOYA and learned to dance Greek with the local church dance group.
