Media, PA – This past weekend, St. George Greek Orthodox Church was the place to be for anyone craving authentic Greek cuisine in Delaware County. The four-day “Taste of Greece” festival offered everything Greek — and it didn’t disappoint. With both indoor and outdoor dining, traditional folk dancing, and a warm welcome from parishioners, it was a feast for the senses that transported visitors straight to Greece.
From hearty pastitsio to sweet karithopita, from browsing the parish bookstore to touring the church, every stop along the way added to the experience. After the tour, guests could sip a traditional Greek coffee while watching the youth folk dancers perform in colorful, traditional costumes.
Now in its 40th year, the annual festival continues to bring the community together through food, music, culture, and faith. Hosted on the grounds of St. George, it remains a cherished local tradition — and a true “Taste of Greece.”
