One of the oldest Greek organizations in Philadelphia, the Demation Brotherhood of Philadelphia, is hosting its annual dinner dance. This year marks the 100th anniversary, making it extra special.
Demati is one of the Zagorohoria 46 traditional settlements North of Ioannina, set in a breathtaking surrounding. The area is famous for its natural beauty, rocky mountains, with rivers, lakes, traditional houses and over 60 stone bridges in the area.
The Demation Brotherhood will bring the cultural tastes and music of their village to the Philadelphia area where many Demati families have settled. With a warm, friendly, family atmosphere, the evening promises to be memorable.
