The Philoptochos of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral invites the community to an evening of games and giving with its Designer Bag Bingo on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The event begins at 6:00 p.m., with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. in the cathedral hall, 256 S. 8th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
Admission is $35 per ticket and includes 10 bingo games, each offering the chance to win a designer handbag. Guests will be treated to coffee, water, and desserts, and a cash bar will be open throughout the night. Attendees are welcome to bring their own appetizers or snacks to enjoy at their tables.
In addition to the bingo prizes, the evening features a 50/50 drawing and several additional raffles, providing more opportunities to take home something special. The highlight of the night is the Grand Prize Raffle for a Louis Vuitton Graceful MM handbag, with raffle tickets available for $20 each.
Proceeds from Designer Bag Bingo support the charitable programs and outreach of the Philoptochos Society, the women’s philanthropic arm of the Greek Orthodox Church dedicated to assisting those in need within the community and beyond.
