Philadelphia, PA – Fireworks exploded at midnight over Evangelismos Greek Orthodox church during Easter services. Parishioners commemorated the mass with a tradition of fireworks. The congregation stood outside the church holding candles and looking into the sky during the late service. As Saturday night turned to Sunday, Father Alexandros yelled out: “Christos Anesti!” (Christ has Risen).
