This September, Evangelismos tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church invites the community to experience the warmth and flavor of a traditional Greek village during its annual fall festival.
Running September 27, 28, and 29, 2013, the festival brings together authentic homemade Greek food, lively dancing, and the unmistakable energy of a close-knit neighborhood. It’s a celebration not just of cuisine, but of culture—where generations come together to preserve and share their Hellenic heritage.
The parish grounds at 6501 Bustleton Avenue will be filled with the aromas of slow-roasted lamb, sizzling souvlaki, and sweet loukoumades. Youth dance groups will take the stage in traditional costume, while music echoes through the tents. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or spending the evening soaking in the atmosphere.
