Philadelphia, PA – Bustleton avenue was a bit busier this weekend in Northeast Philadelphia this past weekend. Evangelismos Greek Orthodox church hosted another successful Greek food festival. Parishioners faces filled with smiles as guests lined the big tent for a taste of Greek food. Inside, the women ran the kitchen where they worked their magic. Baked tiropita and spanakopita trays flew in and out of the hot ovens, while guests waited with anticipation outside.
The weekend long affair hosted live Greek music with Stoxos playing for the crowd. The big tent filled to capacity as a baptism let out at dinner time, bringing attendees in as well.
