The Federation of Hellenic American Societies of Philadelphia and Greater Delaware Valley will hold its Annual Dinner Meeting and Vasilopita cutting on Wednesday, January 21, at the Atheras Center in Pennsauken, New Jersey.

This year’s event is being hosted by the Pan-Icarian Brotherhood of America, through its Atheras Chapter. Dinner is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., followed by the Federation’s annual session at 7:00 p.m.

The annual dinner brings together representatives from churches, regional societies, and other affiliated organizations across the Delaware Valley. In addition to the session, the evening includes the traditional cutting of the Vasilopita, marking the start of the new year.

Attending the dinner and meeting will be Metropolitan Apostolos, Metropolitan of New Jersey, and Iphigenia Kanara, Consul General of Greece in New York.

The dinner and gathering will take place at the Atheras Center, located at 6620 Westfield Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ 08110.

The Federation’s Annual Dinner is held each January and combines an organizational session with a New Year tradition observed across Greek communities.
