The Fifth District AHEPA Cancer Research Foundation will host its Annual Evening of Celebration on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Pines Manor, 2085 Lincoln Highway in Edison, New Jersey. The evening begins at 6:30 PM and brings together the community for dinner, dancing, and live music, all in support of life-saving cancer research.

Founded in 1988, the Foundation has been paving the way for progress through philanthropy for nearly four decades. Established by members of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), its mission is to raise funds and award research grants to scientists and medical institutions working toward a cure for cancer.

Over the years, the Foundation has donated more than $1.125 million directly to cancer research. Its grants have supported institutions such as the Fox Chase Cancer Center, Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, and Weill Cornell Medical College, helping advance discoveries that have led to patented medicines and improved cancer diagnostics. Many of the Foundation’s trustees are cancer survivors themselves, adding personal meaning to every dollar raised.

This year’s celebration invites guests to honor that mission while enjoying an elegant black-tie optional evening of music, community, and generosity. The program will highlight current research initiatives and recognize the ongoing impact of those who contribute to the cause.
