February 23, 2012 — PGBL Hosts First-Ever All-Star Game

Before the highly anticipated championship matchup between the Kings and Warriors, the PGBL held its first-ever All-Star Game at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.

The exhibition brought together top players from both the Blue and White divisions for a friendly, high-energy showdown. Fans were treated to a display of skill and creativity, as the league’s best took the floor in celebration of a season filled with standout performances.

Cosmos Philly was on hand to highlight some of the league’s most captivating athletes during the game. The action was fast-paced and entertaining, with players showing off acrobatic scoring attempts and launching an unusually high number of three-point shots — more reminiscent of an NBA All-Star showcase than a local league game.

In the end, it was the White Division that came out on top, earning bragging rights with a win over the Blue Division.

The event marked a milestone for the PGBL, celebrating talent, sportsmanship, and the growing energy behind the league.
