The Consulate General of Greece in Chicago will hold a Greek citizenship seminar on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the National Hellenic Museum for those interested in acquiring or confirming Greek citizenship.

The seminar, titled “Greek Citizenship: Everything You Need to Know,” will cover eligibility, required documents, application steps, and the broader process of obtaining Greek citizenship. Following the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual consultations.

The event is organized by the Consulate General of Greece in Chicago in cooperation with the National Hellenic Museum and the Federation of Hellenic-American Organizations of Illinois, with the Hellenic Professional Society of Illinois also listed as a cooperating organization.

The seminar will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the National Hellenic Museum, 333 South Halsted Street, Chicago. Admission is free, but registration is required through greekcitizenship.eventbrite.com.
