Greek Food Feast At St. Demetrios Greek Festival

Upper Darby, PA – Loukoumades a la Nutella and nuts were the latest Greek sweet trend served up at the Upper Darby Greek Festival. But of course, the Baklava, Galaktobouriko, and Revani were all on hand as well. Inside and out, sweet treats and great traditional Greek meals made the weekend’s first Greek festival memorable.

St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church kicks off the festival season in the Delaware Valley annually. This year they added a live radio broadcast, on 97.5-Sports Talk. They also had mascots Franklin the Dog from the Sixers, and the Phillie Phanatic. Music and traditional folk dancing throughout the evening rounded out a perfect Greek day.
