The Greek Maritime Golf Event will return to Costa Navarino in Messinia from September 4 to 6, 2026, with its main tournament scheduled for Saturday, September 5, at The Dunes Course.
Now in its 12th year, the gathering is organized for executives from the Greek and international maritime industry. Participants will compete in four-player teams using a shotgun scramble format over 18 holes.
Awards will go to the top three teams in the overall standings, with individual prizes for the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. A golf clinic will also be held Saturday for noncompeting guests, with professional coaches offering instruction to beginners and golfers seeking to improve their skills.
The Dunes Course is an 18-hole, par-71 course designed by Bernhard Langer in association with European Golf Design. It was named Greece’s Best Golf Course for 2025 by the World Golf Awards.
The Saturday evening awards ceremony will include a raffle benefiting Floga, the Parents’ Association of Children with Cancer. Organizers said the proceeds will go directly to the association.
Established in Athens in 1982, Floga supports children with cancer and their families across Greece and works to improve the medical, psychological, and social care available to them.
The tournament is organized by Birdie Events and is an initiative of Greek PGA professional Thanos Karantzias.
