Hellenic Hearts brought its Gala weekend to a close on Monday, June 1, with a golf outing at Huntingdon Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania, where about 25 teams gathered for a day of friendly competition, fellowship, and support for the organization’s mission.
Golfers traveled from across the country to take part, teeing off under clear skies and ideal playing conditions. The outing supported Hellenic Hearts’ work, providing emergency assistance, scholarships, mentorship, and educational opportunities for Greek and Greek American families in the Greater Philadelphia region and beyond.
Now marking its tenth year, Hellenic Hearts has become one of the community’s familiar places to turn in moments of need. Its work combines long-term guidance with a need-based safety net for families facing hardship.
Hosted by founder John Aivazoglou and the Hellenic Hearts board, the outing blended spirited play with a strong sense of community as teams moved through the course and later gathered at the clubhouse for remarks and thanks.
Event sponsor Limestone MRI and Imaging Center was recognized throughout the outing, underscoring the vital role community partners play in sustaining Hellenic Hearts’ scholarship, guidance, and relief programs.
