Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Wilmington, Delaware, will be hosting a New Year’s 2020 Countdown at their church hall, on December 31st, 2019. The decor theme – “Till The Return of the Roaring ’20’s”. The entire Greek community is invited to come out and bring in the New Year at this historical event, which will feature an all-star lineup of musicians and a DJ.
The Neo Kyma Band will be present and feature George Marcantonis singing, Tolis Kyriazis on bouzouki, George Zografos on keyboards, and Tasos Daskalopoulos on drums. Leo Marcantonis will be the guest DJ, and for Pontian music lovers, Christos Tiktapanidis will be playing the Lyra.
The party starts at 9:00 pm. There will be hors d’oeuvres, dinner, champagne toast at midnight and a vasilopita on every table to enjoy. Eat, drink, and be merry with family and friends as you bring in the new year. $65 for adults, $20 for students under 21, free for children 10 and under.
