The Greater Philadelphia Committee of International Orthodox Christian Charities will hold its 15th annual benefit banquet on Sunday, October 25, at Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford, New Jersey.
The banquet and silent auction will support IOCC’s humanitarian relief and development work in the United States and abroad, including programs in Greece, Ukraine, Ethiopia and the Holy Land.
John V. Sobchak, a member of IOCC’s Board of Directors, will give the keynote address. IOCC says he has served on the board for the past 14 years.
More than 50 volunteers representing several Orthodox Christian jurisdictions make up the Greater Philadelphia Committee. IOCC’s September announcement identifies Deacon Michael Sandilos as the committee’s chair and Tony Pantazopoulos as its founder.

Founded in 1992, International Orthodox Christian Charities is the humanitarian relief and development agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America. IOCC says it has provided more than $887 million in relief and development programs in more than 60 countries.
