Konstantinos Mavridis, a tailor who made his home in Upper Darby after emigrating from Greece, died peacefully on July 11, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Born in Xanthi, Greece, Konstantinos met his wife, Alexandra, before the couple moved to the United States with their two daughters, Maria and Eva. They settled in Upper Darby, where he used his tailoring skills to support his family.
He lived to see his family grow and became a grandfather to Irene, Dean, Casey, Alex, and Nicki.
Konstantinos is survived by his wife, Alexandra; his daughter, Eva; his son-in-law, Thomas; and his five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Maria.
Family and friends may attend a viewing on Friday, July 17, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at St Luke Greek Orthodox Church, 35 North Malin Road in Broomall. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am, followed by burial at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield.
