The women’s fashion & lifestyle brand, owned by Greek-American sisters, will introduce local fashionistas to an eclectic mix of overseas designers

Manayunk, PA – Local shoppers hunting from home for overseas styles now have LILA Fashion International, opening Thursday, June 23 at 4386 Main Street in Manayunk, as their go-to link for unique and chic design trends. The fashion and lifestyle retailer, which has to be focused on growing its online presence since launching its e-shop in July 2015, features an eclectic mix of merchandise sourced from around the globe. This international collection grew out of two sisters’ desire to share their passion for exquisitely made foreign fashion.

Lisa Lamprou, 29, and Laura Anne Lamprou, 27, co-founded LILA Fashion International after growing up ‘globally.’ The Greek American sisters were born and raised in Saudi Arabia before moving to Greece in their teens and traveling internationally on vacation and school trips.

“We both have wanderlust personalities and a tremendous fascination with the work of talented artisans from other countries,” said Laura Anne. “Through LILA, Lisa and I have created a world market showcasing handcrafted products that are unknown in the United States.”

Among the products featured on the LILA Fashion International website that will now be available in their new Main Street boutique, are handcrafted jewelry pieces made from semi-precious stones in Greece; winged sandals traditionally made in Cyprus; sunglasses framed with wood from the Greek Isle of Syros; and silk pajamas designed and handcrafted in South Africa. The LILA founders also have two signature collections featuring limited edition jewelry and prints inspired by their Mediterranean homeland.

LILA Fashion International has been recently featured in publications including Home + Table Magazine, Main Line Times, Main Line Suburban Life and City Suburban News.
