Philadelphia, PA – A perfect night under the tent for a Greek festival. Great food, music and elbows bumped at the Evangelismos Big Fat Greek Festival. Everything was homemade and original as usual. Inside the kitchen of this little congregation, immigrant Greek woman baked, shaked and made it all come to life. For weeks the ladies and gents of the church work day and night preparing all original recipes for their parish on Bustleton ave. In fact, when we talked to the congregation parishioners, it has to be in Greek, that’s how they do it at Evangelismos Greek Orthodox church. The three day festival is hosted in it’s traditional form every year and is arguable the best of the best.
