June 9th, 2012. With Graduation season in full swing, Cosmos Philly stopped in to see one of the communities biggest parties. Louie Karapanagiotides of Upper Darby, graduated from the Wharton school at U. Penn. On Saturday night, St. Demetrios of Upper Darby was the scene of one of the biggest graduation parties this month. Local Greek band Seizmos, got the party going after a few words of gratitude and a toast by Louie to his family, friends and the Greek community. Happy tears of joy where scene on brother Evan’s and mother Jamie’s faces as Louie talked about his personal journey to this day. Once the music kicked in, Father Teddy Karas, joined his son’s on the dance floor while Cosmos Philly made the rounds snapping photos and interviewing party attendees. Congratulations to Louie Karapanagiotides and his family.
