Cretan singer and laouto player Manolis Kontaros will perform in Cinnaminson, New Jersey, on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at a dinner dance organized by the Cretans of Delaware Valley–Knossos.
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. at The Merion, 1301 Route 130, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. The program includes a cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and a performance by the White Mountains Dance Group.
Tickets are available in several categories:
- General admission: $150
- VIP front-table seating: $200
- Students: $110
- Children ages 5–12: $60
- Children under 5: Free
General admission and VIP tickets include an open bar for guests 21 and older.
Originally from Vrysses in the Apokoronas region of Chania, Kontaros began studying the laouto as a teenager. His repertoire includes rizitika, traditional songs associated with western Crete. His career has taken him throughout Greece and abroad.
