The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of New Jersey and the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate will hold an evening honoring the 35 years of ministry of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on Thursday, June 25, at the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John the Theologian in Tenafly, New Jersey.
The evening will also celebrate the nameday of His Eminence Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey. Hierarchical Vespers will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a lecture and complimentary dinner at 7:30 p.m.
Dr. Anthony J. Limberakis, Archon Grand Aktouarios and National Commander of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, will offer remarks on the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Foundation.
Archon George E. Demacopoulos, PhD, a historian and member of the Archons’ National Council, will give the featured presentation on the historic initiatives and accomplishments of Patriarch Bartholomew during his tenure as Ecumenical Patriarch.
The evening will be chaired by Archons Michael D. Camarinos, Esq., and George A. Tsougarakis, Esq., members of the National Council and regional commanders.
