Bensalem, PA – His Eminence, Metropolitan Evangelos of New Jersey, visited Greek-owned Sigmapharm Laboratories on Friday afternoon to conduct a traditional Agiasmo. Welcomed by CEO Dr. Spiro Spireas, his wife Amalia and the staff of Sigmapharm Laboratories, they gathered in the company lobby where the ceremony was conducted.
Many of the staff members who were Greek Orthodox, stepped forward to receive the blessing from his Eminence, who was assisted by Father James Pavlow of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Trenton New Jersey. Dr. Spireas then led his Eminence and the guests on a tour of the Bensalem Pennsylvania facility where the blessings continued throughout the afternoon.
