Nikki Beach one of the world’s top luxury brands has opened a new five star resort in Greece on August 1 2014. The Nikki Beach resort combines the elements of beach, dining, music, and fashion. The luxury brand was founded by American entrepreneur Jack Penrod who opened the first resort in Florida in 1998 and has now expanded to countries all over the globe. The resort opened in Porto Heli with the collaboration of Dolphin Capital Investors, a leading global investor in the residential sector and one largest investors in Greece and Cyprus.
The Nikki Beach resort opening is not only important for its ability to attract wealthy tourists to the country, but it will also contribute significantly to the country’s unemployment problem. A grand total of 130-140 employees will be working at the resort and according to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nikki Beach EMEA Hotels and Resorts Jihad El-Khoury, the majority of them will be young Greeks. Multiple job openings have already been created and applicants can apply for a position through various sites such as nikkibeach.com and skywalker.gr. Over 50 positions are available and the resort even provides internships for college students.
The luxury resort offers direct views of the Aegean Sea and over 66 luxurious rooms and suites, and multiple dining options. For the three days at the resort prices range from $1.200-$3.500 depending on the room type with some featuring private pools and decks. The resort’s location is ideal for it is only a two hour drive from Athens.
