The first night back after the holiday break brought energy, heart, and a few surprises to the court at St. Demetrios. Team Hellas stole the spotlight, earning their second win of the season, while the Kings and Danny’s Boys held firm at the top of the standings.
Game 1: Kings 88 – Revolution 71
In a fast-paced, high-scoring battle, the Kings and Revolution went shot-for-shot for much of the game. But the Kings, who haven’t lost since opening night, pulled away in the second half. With balanced scoring and strong execution, they extended their win streak to nine straight, holding on to the top spot in the league.
Game 2: Hellas 47 – Sixers 39
The night’s most inspiring performance came from Team Hellas. Short-handed for much of the first half, they dug deep, played with pride, and outlasted the Sixers in a gritty, hard-fought contest. It was a total team effort — and proof that Hellas, though an underdog, is not to be underestimated. The win marks their second of the season and was well-earned.
Game 3: Danny’s Boys 43 – Mavericks 37
The final game of the night was a scrappy affair, as Danny’s Boys and the still-winless Mavericks struggled to find rhythm. Sloppy play on both sides raised questions about holiday rust, but in the end, Danny’s Boys did just enough to avoid an upset. They improved to 9–1, remaining tied with the Kings atop the standings.
