The Wolfpack nipped Rip City. While the Warriors survive the Mavericks and the Spartans claimed the final spot for the playoffs.
Upper Darby, PA – Game one put together two playoff bound teams, the Wolfpack and Rip City. The Wolfpack jumped out to a big lead in the first half and Rip City could not make their shots. Although they came back within a bucket with one minute left in the game, the wolfpack dominated the boards. Final score: Wolfpack 51, Rip City 45.
The highlight game featured the winless Mavericks and the young Warriors. Two teams struggling this year. This game was a repeat. A big lead by the Warriors in the first half, of 13 points, was nearly lost. As the the Mavericks made it a 1 point game late in the second half. The Warriors survived the scare and won. Final score: Warriors 59, Mavericks 54.
The big battle of the Greeks featured two teams with real Greek names, the Spartans and team Hellas. Team Hellas has been playing solid throughout the season and has managed a couple of victories. Although they will not be going to the playoffs great strides have been made. Last night’s game was a close one as well. Final score: Spartans 64, Hellas 55.
