Upper Darby, PA – Danny’s Boys claimed the league lead last night in the highlight game, by taking on and beating the Wolfpack.
In game one, the Sixers were dominated by the Revolution who controlled the tempo the whole game. When the Revolution comes to play, they are explosive and very competitive. Tonight they gelled together in their victory. Pete Kada led all scoring with 25 points. Final score: Revolution 63, Sixers 41.
The big highlight game featured the reigning champs, Danny’s Boys and the runners up, The Wolfpack. A lot of fouls early on by Dannys Boys as the scoring was close. But the second half missed shots by the Wolfpack and Pete Kathopoulos effort of Danny’s Boys proved to be the difference. Final score: Danny’s Boys 63, Wolfpack 55.
The Mavericks are still looking for their first victory and in the first half they stayed close. Bu the second half was all Spartans who took control of the boards and pushed the fast break. Final score: Spartans 46, Mavericks 31.
