Grizzlies 50 vs. Spurs 45
Well, well, well… would you look what we have here. A winning streak for the Grizzlies. It makes me happy to see this team pulling out wins because they’re effort has never been in doubt. These guys work so hard every week and understand that if they’re going to win, they need to do it together. Led in scoring by the man I just saw on the home page, Jimmy Kemmerer with 14 points, the Grizz had everybody on the sidelines talking again tonight. Kemmerer did a great job getting to the basket in the second half. Pete Tsamoutalis scored 12 points in the paint and a crucial shot late in the game off the glass that was a dagger. Andrew Milonas looked to be having a cold shooting night but hit a couple big buckets when they counted. The Grizz led for the whole game and showed some maturity and growth by keeping the lead.
The Spurs have been having issues in the turnover department lately and today was no different. Missed free throws also plagued the Spurs tonight as they went 10-20, 50%. Vas Rousseas arrived late and made his presence felt immediately with quick steals and assists. Rousseas ended up with 14 points and has been doing one thing a lot better lately, driving to the basket. Kosta Nikolos had a cold shooting night with 12 points but only 3-7 from the line. Zeke Economides played strong tonight with 13 points and a couple nice and 1 plays, but the Spurs just could not get over the hump tonight. Cold late game shooting and below par defense caused them to be the Grizz’s second straight victim. No worries though, playoffs is all that matters.

Revolution 70 vs. Kings 57
The Rev are the deepest team in the PGBL. And that helps them be the best team in the PGBL. Led tonight by Pete Kada (21pts), the Rev did a great job defensively and then getting out and running. Escpecially Pete Kada, who is usually the first one up the floor on the break. Kada may have had 10-14 points on layups alone. Vasili Nasis (17pts) had a cold shooting night from the free throw line, but his game in general was hot. Nasis makes the Rev a championship team. Without him they are good, with him they can be great. Niko Nasis played possibly his best game of the season tonight with several rebounds, 10 points, and a couple monster blocks. Great job by the defense as they kept the Kings under 70 for the first time in a while. The Revolution play the Terps next week and then will wait on the winner of the 4vs5 seed playoff game.
Watching this game it looked like the Kings shot about 25% from the field. They missed several easy layups and jumpshots. Bill Zonios did everything he could to keep the team in it with 21 points. Zonios has been lights out lately but tonight seemed to cool down a little. Foti Giannopoulos didn’t look like himself tonight and I’m told he may have been injured but he did manage to score 10 points, as did Chris Kourelias. Kourelias has been known to make some very nice assists but didn’t seem to be on his game tonight with a few turnovers. An overall quiet night for the Kings as they didn’t seem at full strength. Whenever the Kings made a threat, the Rev always responded.
