Upper Darby, PA – The annual Philadelphia Federation of Hellenic American Societies (covering Philadelphia and the Greater Delaware Valley) Christmas party was held this past Tuesday evening. The event drew more than 30 members of the organization. On the agenda, Phillip Nikolaidis, president of St. Demetrios Church and Federation board member, was honored with a plaque for his many years of service.
Also on the agenda is the announcement of a fund established by the metropolitan of New Jersey for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Mark your calendars for January 12, 2013. Atlantis will perform with special guest singers Diamandi Dionysiou, the youngest son of Stratos, and Katerina Topazi at the Federation of Hellenic American Societies of Philadelphia’s Dance to benefit Greek-American families who lost everything in Hurricane Sandy.
