New York – Greece’s Governing Vice President and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos, who was paying an official visit to New York together with Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, held a short meeting with the chairman of the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Philadelphia and the Greater Delaware Valley, Mr. Stathis Karadonis.
During this meeting, Mr. Venizelos discussed with Mr. Karadonis issues of general relevance for the Greeks of the area and especially the Federation of Greek Societies.
The informal meeting introduced the Philadelphia community to Minister Venizelos who was very interested in visiting Philadelphia on his next visit.
