Philadelphia, PA – The Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral community will gather on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at The Arts Ballroom in Center City to celebrate Father Anastasios Bourantas and the 30th anniversary of his ordination.
For three decades, Father Anastasios has served as Dean of Saint George, leading worship, caring for parishioners, and guiding the life of the Cathedral. His anniversary is a moment for parishioners and friends to come together in gratitude for his years of steady leadership.
The Cathedral has long been a spiritual home for Orthodox faithful in Philadelphia. Under Father Anastasios’ care, it has continued its mission of worship, education, and community life, connecting generations to their faith and heritage.
“This celebration recognizes Father Anastasios’ dedicated service and his three decades of spiritual guidance,” said a church representative. “We invite the Philadelphia community to join us in marking this occasion.”
