Cherry Hill, N.J. – Saint Thomas Hellenic School is accepting registrations for the 2026-27 school year, with classes beginning Thursday, Sept. 10, at 4:30 p.m. with the Service of the Blessing of the Water, or Agiasmos.
Registration fees are $900 for the first child, $800 for the second, and $700 for the third. After hearing concerns from families about costs, the Parish Council decided to keep the early-registration rates in place for the 2026-27 school year.

The school has published a three-installment payment schedule: 50% by Aug. 1, 25% by Sept. 1, and the remaining 25% by Oct. 1. The first two installments must be paid for a child’s enrollment to be completed. The registration letter directs families to the school’s installment payment form.
Saint Thomas is offering 10 need-based scholarships of $500 each. The financial assistance application included with the school’s registration materials should be emailed to the Rev. Protopresbyter Georgios Oikonomou at stinenoria@gmail.com. Applications will be reviewed by Father Georgios, the Parish Council president, and the treasurer. Families facing financial difficulty are encouraged to speak directly with Father Georgios.
Parents or guardians must meet the parish’s stewardship requirements. Good standing requires that the 2025 Fair Share contribution be paid in full and the 2026 pledge be submitted, with at least two-thirds fulfilled by the week before Greek School begins.
The curriculum will again include Ellinopoula, which uses games, videos, and interactive activities to teach Greek, along with material on Greek mythology, history, and culture.
