Upper Darby, PA – St. Demetrios proudly hosted its inaugural kids’ bid-and-buy event, Golden Ticket, on a Sunday afternoon. Embracing a Willy Wonka theme, the colorful affair aimed to raise funds for the Greek School of St. Demetrios. The PTA-organized event featured a captivating blend of prizes, games, and music, making it an exciting and memorable experience for children and parents.
This innovative concept marked a significant effort by the St. Demetrios community to engage and involve generations, reflecting the dedication of parishioners to keeping their families united. Parish President Mike Economou expressed, “At St. Demetrios, we are always looking to keep the generations involved.
