May 3rd, 2013. Philadelphia. – St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Philadelphia was full last night with it’s congregation. Good Friday was celebrated in by the Orthodox community on this spring evening with it’s annual tradition of the Epitafio being carried down 8th street.

The procession took them around the block and back in to the church in single file underneath the Epitafio. There, they were met by Father Costa where they performed their cross and kissed the Bible Father Costa held.

St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral Easter services continue all week long, and conclude on Sunday morning.
