June 1st, 2012. If you were strolling around in old city Philadelphia it would have been best to let your nose lead you. This way, you would have probably ended up at St. Georges Greek Festival on 8th street. The smell of souvlaki and gyros cooking along your path were just as visually entertaining as well. With an old world charm, this neighborhood festival captivated it’s friend and neighbors. the sounds of traditional Greek music and language could be heard up and down the street this past weekend. It’s quite possible the best Greek food in the area.
